Training Tips - Start With the Puppy Basics

I have had many new puppy owners ask me when they bring home their new puppy, where do they begin to start training? So I have mapped out some basic training that you can begin as soon as you bring your new little one home.

I have a great scheduling tool and some tips for you that will come in handy when a new puppy enters your home.

Training Programs

I am excited to let you know that there are some great new training programs available for puppy owners who have a new addition to their families. These programs are designed to help you in your home with your puppy to build a better relationship. Puppies are purchased yet training is the key to a successful relationship with your puppy. Please check out the various programs!

Elsa

"We couldn't be more pleased with Happy Hound training. Marcia told us that our high energy 2 year old Aussiedoodle (Elsa) was not being stimulated enough mentally so that was leading to some small problems for us.

Elsa Happy Hound

After just a few hours of training we could already notice a big difference in Elsa. The 'off' command is a wonderful thing and we were told of other simple ways to keep our dog busy. Marcia was gentle and kind and our dog responded to her commands immediately. Marcia is very professional and friendly, I would recommend her services to everyone!"

Puppy Biting

When you let a puppy know by telling them “Ouch” that their bite just hurt you then they should back off and maybe give you a lick. If they are in the 7:00pm crazy period then grab a toy or walk away. Try it for 1 week.
