Trained Miniature Goldendoodle Puppies!
Happy Hound is pleased to announce their Trained Miniature Goldendoodle Puppy program is now underway. Marcia Scott of Happy Hound is providing families with a head start; trained miniature golden doodles! Completely house trained, chew toy trained, knowing all the basic commands! Goldendoodles are intelligent and obedient family companions. They are everybody's friend and devoted to their family. They are friendly towards children, other dogs and pets, and easy with strangers. They are social dogs, happiest when they are with people. Click on the image above to learn more!

New puppies are being born every day. There are so many different options to think about with your new addition to the family. Firstly congratulations! A puppy can be so much fun and certainly entertaining. I would like to suggest a few things to consider with your new puppy. The housetraining is usually the first thing that you would like to train as you would prefer as many little puddles and “brown flowers” to happen outside your home and ideally in a specific area.
 The little rascal found a spot to eliminate when you prefer them do their business outside! Remember that puppies will usually eliminate after getting up from a snooze, after a play, approximately 10 minutes after a drink of water. If you are unable to supervise your puppy then place them in an area where they are safe. A suggestion would be to place them in a 6’ x 8’ penned area. The 1st two feet would be a cozy bed, the 2nd two feet would be a play area and the 3rd two feet would be the elimination area.
Therefore, you are continuing to housetrain your puppy when you are not home or need a break. In the play area, place a few toys/stuffed bone/Bullwrinkle stick which will keep them occupied while you are away.
Today’s challenge: have your dog stay, with your back turned, in 5 different situations before bedtime!
